Privacy & cookies

S W Window & Cleaning Services Ltd ("we") is responsible for the personal information you give us through this website. Questions? Emailinfo@swwc.co.uk or call 07516 774610.

What we collect and why

  • Bookings: your name, address, email, mobile and property details, so we can clean your windows, confirm the booking and contact you about it. Lawful basis: performing our contract with you.
  • Quote requests: your contact details, property details and any photos you upload, so we can price the job. Lawful basis: steps at your request before a contract.
  • "Let me know" requests: your email and postcode, so we can tell you when we cover your area. Lawful basis: consent — reply to any email to withdraw it.
  • How you found us: the ad campaign or link you arrived from (for example a Google Ads click ID), stored with your booking so we know which advertising works. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, and only kept on your device if you accept cookies.

Who we share it with

Our job-management system (Squeegee), our website host (Amazon Web Services, UK/EU data centres) and our email provider, only as needed to run your booking. Maps on our area pages load from OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address to send the map images (no cookies are set). If you accept advertising cookies, Google receives information about your visit and whether you booked. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Customer and booking records for as long as you're a customer and six years afterwards for our accounts. Unsuccessful quotes for 12 months. Photos you upload for 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We use strictly necessary storage to remember your cookie choice and to keep your booking progress if you refresh the page.
